Catholic doctrine is an integral part of the curriculum, and it is developed in keeping with the emotional and spiritual development of the child. Lived doctrine permeates every aspect in the life of the school.
Saint Catherine of Siena School fosters good habits, good values, and an authentic friendship with Jesus:- We attend Mass each Monday morning, and our 5th and 6th grade students attend Adoration every Wednesday afternoon.
- We pray at the beginning of the day, we say grace before meals, and we say an act of contrition before we leave for the day.
- We share beautiful sacramental devotions during Advent, we visit the Stations of the Cross each week during Lent, we pray the Divine Mercy Chaplet after Mercy Sunday, and we celebrate Christmas and Easter.
- The environment is filled with our Catholic tradition.
Academics at Saint Catherine of Siena School far exceed basic standards. In the last 3 years our curriculum has grown in excellence in Math and Language Arts as well as in Science because our focus is on maintaining new programs, Smartboard applications, teacher resources, and manipulatives.
Our Student to Teacher ratio is 16:1
That what visitors notice when first entering our building is the pristine facility. Visitors also marvel at our updated computer lab and Smartboards in EACH classroom!
Wherever our students go… whether it is a basketball game, cross country meet, field trips, museums, bus trips or weekly Mass, adults marvel at how well-behaved the children are.
